The hiFace is a high value-for-money digital-to-digital converter for turning your computer into the main audio source for any hi-fi system with a digital input.
If your hi-fi system includes a digital-to-analog converter, or when your amplifier or CD player has a digital input to use their internal DAC with external sources, then you can use hiFace to turn your computer into a high-performance digital music source.
Simply plug hiFace into one of your computer’s USB ports and connect its output to the digital input available in your hi-fi system-you can listen to music files with very high sound quality, whether MP3, CD-quality or high-resolution files.
Extremely easy to use, it is seen by your computer as a sound card. Its USB interface requires a driver, which is available for Windows, but unfortunately not for Mac. Most Linux distributions support hiFace natively via ALSA.
