Palmer

Very Low Noise Battery Power Supply

When it comes to high audio performance, the quality of the current being supplied to a Hi-Fi device is of paramount importance. Noise in the supply current can be injected into the sound or coupled to critical circuitry, such as the clock of a DAC, inducing less than optimal performance.

A low-noise power supply is therefore essential to squeeze the last drop of sound quality out of the DAC or amplifier. Of course, a low-noise design requires component quality, board space, and cost beyond what is acceptable in non-exorbitantly expensive designs.

This is why M2Tech offers the Palmer: users who have purchased the Young or Joplin can later allocate some of their budget to increase the performance of their equipment by adding the Palmer.

Extremely easy to use, its benefits range from increased clock stability in DACs (with relative soundstage sharpness and detail rendering) to a darker background because of the smaller noise bed.

The Palmer has two single-voltage outputs for the Young and the Joplin.

The Palmer achieves its excellent noise performance through the use of a Lithium polymer battery that is automatically recharged when needed.
