The Classic Power Amplifier is a stereo power amplifier designed to drive even the most demanding loudspeakers. Its high dynamic power and current delivery capability allow it to handle the most demanding transients, even with difficult loads.
It features single-ended and balanced inputs. Input selection is made via a switch on the rear panel. Additionally, a pair of trigger inputs allow you to control the Classic Power Amplifier’s power directly from the preamplifier, if it is equipped with a trigger output, such as the Classic Preamplifier.
It drives a pair of speakers. Additionally, the trigger inputs also function as pass-throughs, meaning you can use the second trigger input as an output to another device.
The Classic Power Amplifier is equipped with two VU-meter level indicators calibrated in dB and Watts at 8 Ohm, which show the instantaneous power delivered by the amplifier. They allow you to understand if and when the amplifier reaches its maximum output level.
It is rack-mountable for convenient use even in a professional environment.
It is equipped with an infrared receiver through which you can adjust the brightness of the VU-meters using a Manunta remote control (for example, the one supplied with the Classic Preamplifier). You can order a Manunta remote control separately if you do not have one.
The Classic Power Amplifier is designed for music. Its power circuit is structured to accommodate the dynamic behavior of the musical program, consisting of a succession of short impulsive peaks interspersed with longer interludes at medium-low levels. Think of a drum kit or vocals. For this reason, with a continuous power output of 75Wrms per channel into 8 Ohms and 100Wrms per channel into 4 Ohms, the Classic Integrated Amplifier is capable of delivering a dynamic power output of 170Wrms per channel into 8 Ohms and up to 260Wrms per channel into 4 Ohms! In short, the Classic Power Amplifier costs, consumes, and heats up like a 75W amplifier but sounds like a 170W one. Not bad, right?
The Classic Power Amplifier is meticulously hand-assembled in Italy, because at Manunta by M2Tech, we firmly believe in the added value of expert craftsmanship, which adds quality to the product and dignity to the worker. It is made using only through-hole components. These offer a wider variety of options than surface-mount components. This allowed us to select the most suitable components during the design phase based on sound and power handling, because we wanted to create a product that would sound great and last over time: an investment for life.
The Classic Power Amplifier is an ethical and environmentally friendly product. The mechanical components are made in Italy in compliance with European environmental regulations. Its power supply allows for optimal use of the stored energy. In compliance with the European Union’s recently issued repairability index regulation, the Classic Integrated Amplifier uses only readily available components that can be replaced in the unlikely event of a failure, ensuring long-lasting use.
